A women's ensemble consisting of musicians from Armenia, Turkey and France performed in a historic Armenian church on Friday in Turkey's Kurdish-majority city of Diyarbakir.

The instruments in the ensemble include clarinet, percussion, violin, accordion, keyboard, baglama and tsiranapogh.

The Miasin ensemble (Armenian word "miasin" means "together") typically perform music that inspires freedom and solidarity.

The concert took place in Surp Giragos Church in Diyarbakir's Sur district. The church, reopened to the public in 2022, is known to be one of the largest Armenian churches in the Middle East and is spread out over 3,000 square meters.

Songs in Armenian, Kurdish, Persian, Zaza and Turkish were sung in the concert that was attended by a large crowd.

Miasin is expected to give its next concert in Diyarbakir tomorrow at 8 PM in Zarok Ma.
