Amid heightened tensions over Nagorno-Karabakh, Pashinyan and Erdogan engage in crucial dialogue
In a time of significant regional tension, with daily accusations being exchanged between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a pivotal phone conversation on Monday.
The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed that the two leaders discussed Armenian-Turkish relations and regional concerns. Both leaders concurred on the importance of achieving lasting peace and stability in the region, emphasizing its pivotal role in the development and prosperity of all regional countries. They further committed to continuing diplomatic efforts to realize this aspiration.
Echoing these sentiments, the Anatoly Agency cited a statement from the Presidential Communications Directorate, underscoring both leaders' mutual recognition and commitment to champion regional peace and stability.
