Azerbaijan notified Moscow and Ankara of new military operation in Nagorno-Karabakh
Azerbaijan has officially communicated details of its ongoing military initiatives in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) to Russia and Turkey. These actions are described as "anti-terrorist operations" in the Armenian-inhabited breakaway territory.
The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan stated, "Both the command of the Russian Federation's peacekeeping contingent and the leadership of the Turkish-Russian Monitoring Center have been briefed on the current operations."
According to the international media, Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman for Russia's foreign ministry, confirmed Moscow's active engagement in discussions concerning Karabakh, which involves dialogues with Azerbaijan. Highlighting Russia's apprehensions regarding the mounting hostilities, Zakharova urged all involved parties to cease violence. She emphasized that Russian peacekeepers are steadfastly continuing their mission in Karabakh.
