Consultations in Ankara as Turkey responds to Israeli actions in Palestinian Territories.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has announced the summoning of its ambassador to Israel, Sakir Ozkan Torunlar, to Ankara in response to Israel's continued attacks along the Palestinian front and its rejection of calls for a ceasefire.

In a statement released by the Ministry, it was declared that the decision to call Ambassador Torunlar back to the capital for consultations was made considering the humanitarian tragedy unfolding in Gaza. The Ministry criticized Israel for not accepting ceasefire propositions and for persisting in attacks targeting civilians, as well as for hindering the uninterrupted and continuous entry of humanitarian aid into the region.

The move reflects escalating tensions over the ongoing conflict in Gaza and highlights Turkey's stance on the importance of protecting civilian lives and facilitating humanitarian assistance.
