Istanbul Governor “found” the perpetrators behind the Jewish Cemetery vandalism
Istanbul Governor’s Office said on Friday that the security forces have identified and captured 5 children aged 11-13 who vandalised the graves but failed to explain the motive or links to any other organization behind the attack.

3 mothers accompanying their children to the police station said the children were not strong enough to do such damage, Duvar reported.
One police officer investigating the scene said a sledgehammer or similar tools would be needed to do this sort of damage, according to Duvar.
Another resident from the neighborhood said: “These children live here. Sometimes they play ball here and when the ball goes over the wall to the cemetery, they go in to fetch it. They wouldn't do this, some elders might have directed them.”
