Four people killed by Turkish drone strike in Northeast Syria
Four people were killed and three injured by a Turkish drone strike on Tuesday in a village in Amuda countryside north of Al-Hasakah, in Northeast Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported.
Hawar News Agency confirmed the attack that targeted the village of Sonjak Sa’doun, without reporting casualties.
The number of airstrikes by Turkish drones in North Syria has risen to ten in August according to SOHR.
Earlier in the day, the Syrian state news agency SANA reported artillery attacks by Turkish forces in the same area.
"Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries targeted with heavy artillery shells the homes of citizens in the city of al-Darbasiyah and a number of surrounding villages, which led to huge damage to a number of houses and the public property," SANA said.
A 14-year-old child was killed and four others were injured by Turkish shelling near the city of Kobani earlier in the day.
