Several locations around Damascus have been targeted in missile strikes by Israel, reportedly resulting in several deaths.

Three Syrian soldiers were killed and seven other were injured in Israeli missile strikes, Syria's state agency SANA reported Friday.

Some locations in the vicinity of capital Damascus were targeted by the strikes around 13:30 AM local time, resulting in casualties and material damage.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) later reported that the fatalities have risen to eight, including three people of non-Syrian nationalities and two affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah.

According to the SOHR report, a position near Sayeda Zeinab area hosting a workshop for drone manufacturing was targeted by missiles, alongside a military position hosting air defense batteries in the perimeter of Al-Mazzeh airbase, where three Syrian troops were killed as a result of the strike.

Further locations hosting offices of the Syrian Air-force Intelligence service, the office of a senior officer, and a car in the perimeter of Al-Mazzeh airbase were also targeted during the attacks.
