AKP Mayor Sahin: Every cloud has a silver lining, whatever God wills happens

The Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) Gaziantep Provincial Mayor Fatma Sahin shared the video of a person from Nurdagi who praised the government and tried to explain that the earthquake was part of God’s destiny. In the video, Sahin said, “Every dark cloud has a silver lining.”

AKP Mayor Fatma Sahin who is conducting investigations in Nurdagi, which was affected by the Maras-centered earthquake, shared her conversation with a person who praised the state and described the earthquake as destiny, on her social media account.

The video footage shows a person who says to Sahin, "On top of everything, this happened too. May God keep us from experiencing worse. Our Turkey had just come to the point of rising, every dark cloud has a silver lining.”

In response to this person, Sahin says, “Every dark cloud has a silver lining, whatever my Lord wills, happens.”
