Turkish President Recep Tayyip Edogan has declared a state of emergency (OHAL) in ten provinces affected by devastating earthquakes of Monday.
Erdogan said OHAL will be in effect for a three-month period, during a live-broadcasted press briefing on Tuesday.
Devastating earthquakes hit Turkey’s ten Southeastern provinces on Monday, so far claiming over 3,500 lives.
