Items for survivors sent by HDP-held administration seized
"Taking actions against solidarity may lead to irreversible effects. Don't do it!" HDP has said in protest.
Items for earthquake survivors, sent by the municipal administration of the Kurdish-majority district of Patnos, have been seized by Turkish officials, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) said.
"Taking actions against solidarity may lead to irreversible effects. Don't do it!" HDP said on Twitter.
The local administration of Patnos in the eastern border province of Agri is still held by HDP, unlike many others that have been appointed government trustees by the Turkish interior ministry, who removed the elected mayors over spurious "terror" charges.
