On the third day of search and rescue efforts for earthquake victims in Turkey, good news from Kahramanmaras one more time raised hopes which have started to fade in harsh winter conditions.
Two women trapped in the rubble of two different buildings were rescued alive in the 51st and 52nd hours of the earthquake.
At least 5,894 people were killed in two major earthquakes that struck ten provinces in Southeastern Turkey on Monday.
The quakes’ magnitudes were recorded as 7.7 and 7.6 respectively, both epicenter in Kahramanmaras.
