Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the opposition's joint candidate, vowed that the state treasury will take over the people’s credit card debts from the banks, eliminating the interest and allowing repayment in 36 installments.

With just three days remaining until the second round of the presidential election in Turkey, the rival candidates are intensifying their campaign efforts.

The opposition’s joint candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu, has reached out to the citizens with a promising message regarding their accumulated credit card debts.

Through a short message and a video, Kılıçdaroğlu assured the people that if elected, he would bring a definitive solution to their individual credit card burdens.

"Due to the economic crisis caused by Erdogan, your accumulated credit card debts will be taken over by our state's treasury from the banks," Kilicdaroglu said in his short message.

His proposal involves the state treasury taking over the credit card debts from banks, erasing the interest, and allowing the principal amount to be paid in 36 installments.

This pledge aims to provide relief to countless citizens and prevent their lives from being upended by the weight of debt.

“Remember, the election on May 28th is a referendum on getting rid of these heavy debts or sinking into a debt quagmire in our country!” Kilicdaroglu concluded.
