Kilicdaroglu called on the nation to have trust in his CHP and to change the color of their votes

Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the leader of Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) said Turkey will make a fresh start on May 14.

Calling on the nation to have trust in his CHP, “We will cast our votes on May 14 and with God’s permission, we will make a fresh start together. We'll make a good start,” Kilicdaroglu said in Southeastern Gaziantep province on Wednesday, ANKA news agency reported.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday said that presidential and parliamentary elections scheduled for June 18 will be held on May 14.

We should cast our votes for justice and law, we have to change the color of our votes. We have to put aside our old habits

“If we want a new Turkey, if we desire a Turkey with inner peace, we need a new understanding of politics. We need a policy understanding that we can walk together,” Kilicdaroglu said.

Urging the electorate to cast their votes for justice and law, “We have to change the color of our votes. We have to put aside our old habits,” he said.

“We have no one to fear but the God. We will not succumb to threats. We will fight until the end. We would rather die standing than kneel before them and obey,” CHP leader said.
