Thirteen alleged ISIS members arrested in Turkish capital

Some of the detained suspects are accused of actively taking part in ISIS activities in conflict zones

Ankara Police Department's counter-terrorism and intelligence branches conducted a joint dawn operation on Thursday to capture 15 foreign nationals suspected of being affiliated with the Islamic State (ISIS).

The suspects are accused of being in contact with the jihadist group in conflict zones, while some of them are also accused of actively taking part in the activities of ISIS.

Thirteen people were arrested in dawn raids.

The police later said that two suspects are still at large, and operations continue to capture them.
