Turkey: 12 soldiers injured in separate incidents in Sirnak
12 Turkish troops were injured in two separate incidents in Turkey's Kurdish-majority province of Sirnak on Wednesday.
The first one happened in Uludere district near the village of Roboski as a military vehicle carrying soldiers reportedly rolled over.
10 soldiers were injured in the crash, and were taken to Uludere Public Hospital for treatment.
In another incident, two soldiers were injured by an explosion in the headquarters of a commando brigade located near the city of Sirnak, according to an official statement by the governor's office.
The governor's office said that the explosion occurred "because of the negligence of the personnel" during a routine control in a munition depot.
The two incidents followed a fatal incident in which a paramilitary guard was killed and at least one was injured by an improvised explosive device near the village of Roboski on Tuesday.
A military operation in search of suspects was launched after the deadly IED attack.
