Two fatally stabbed in the street in upperclass Istanbul neighborhood
Two men were assaulted and slain by a group of aggressors early Sunday in one of Istanbul's affluent neighborhoods after they were involved in a quarrel with a group of six men.
The two victims, workers on a boat anchored at Bebek bay on the European side of the Bosporus strait, first got into a quarrel with a taxi driver who refused to serve them.
A group of six men reportedly joined in the quarrel and some in the group drew knives and stabbed the boat workers.
The two were taken to the hospital for treatment, but they died of the injuries they suffered.
The assailants were captured and taken into custody.
